90后的英语演讲稿 篇1

Thank you.

It’s my great honor to be here to give you a short speech about the label of the 90s. Well, when I got the proposition that which label do you prefer to give to the 90s, actually, I didn’t want to paste any label for the 90s at all. You may say: there are so many labels on the Internet for the 90s! Well, Martian, brain damage, non-mainstream, can these generalize us? Obviously not!

So, if I have to give a label, I’ll give non-label. Why? The 90s, as a special group of this time, will obviously attract many people’s attention. Let’s see, what kind of time did us grew up? It was a time full of opportunities and challenges. And, it is developing rapidly nowadays.

As a result of that, we will be more passionate, more willing to challenge, and we want to be different from one another. We 90s want to publicize our personality, we 90s tired of stereotyped, we 90s hope ourselves can be the best!

That is why I don’t want to give the 90s a rough label.

That is why I prefer the word non-label as the label.

Well, obviously we still have a lot of disadvantages. This label just shows that we usually pay more attention to ourselves than the collective. However, I want to say, please give us more trust and encouragement, and we 90s will give you a big surprise in the future.

Since the quality of honesty applies to all behaviors, one cannot refuse to consider factual information, for example, in an unbiased manner and still claim that one's knowledge, belief or position is an attempt to be truthful. Such a belie

f is clearly a product of one's desires and simply has nothing to do with the human ability to know. Basing one's positions on what one wants — rather than unbiased evidence gathering — is dishonest even when good intentions can be cited — after all even Hitler could cite good intentions and intended glory for a select group of people. Clearly then, an unbiased approach to the truth is a requirement of honesty.

Because intentions are closely related to fairness and certainly affect the degree of honesty/dishonesty, there is a wide spread confusion about honesty--and a general belief that being dishonest means that one ALWAYS correctly understands if their behavior is either honest or dishonest. Self-perception of our morality is non-static and volatile. It's often at the moment we refuse to consider other perspectives that there is a clear indication we are not pursuing the truth, rather than simply and exclusively at the moment we can muster up evidence that we are right. Socrates had much to say about truth, honesty and morality, and explained that if people really understood that their behavior was wrong — then they simply wouldn't do it — by definition. Unfortunately, honesty in the western tradition has been marginalized to specific instances — perhaps because a thorough understanding of honesty collides with ideologies of all types. Ideologies and idealism often exaggerate and suppress evidence in order to support their perspectives — at the eXPense of the truth. This process erodes the practice and understanding of honesty. To an ideologist the truth quite often becomes insignificant, what matters most are their ideals and what ever supports their desires to enjoy and spread those ideals.

Human beings are inherently biased about what they believe to be good due to individual tastes & backgrounds, but once one understands that a decidedly biased approach to what is true — is inherently dishonest, one can also understand how idealism and ideology have poorly served the quest for an honest, moral society. Both honesty and morality require that we base our opinions about what is good — upon unbiased ideas of what is TRUE — rather than vice versa (determining what is true based on what we feel is good) — the way all ideologies would have us believe.

Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! I?m very glad to stand here and giveyou a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it , andfound the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.

First I want to ask you some questions: 1、 Do you know what is youth? 2、How do you master your youth?

Youth

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind it is not rosy cheeks ,red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshnessit is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of theappetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We growold by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul .Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ?s heart the lure ofwonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what?s next and the joy of the gameof living . In the center of your heart and my heart there?s a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and powerfrom men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows ofcynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but aslong as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you maydie young at 80. That?s all ! Thank you!

autumn is lovely. it is the season of harvest. there are many oranges on the trees on tianping mountain. they were smiling at our arrival.

on the 12th november, , we came to the orange garden and saw many lovely oranges. some of them were not fully ripe, so their peels were green like small bells or lanterns. how beautiful! when i picked oranges, i needed to use force to pull them down. they seemed as if they were not willing to leave their mums—the orange trees. the oranges were big and round. their peels were very thin. we tasted a section of the orange. it was sweet and a slightly sour. i feel that suzhou has really good mountains, good water and good scenery!

through this autumn outing, i experienced the happiness of harvest and the hardness of labor.
