三、课堂教学设计
1．复习前两课所学的词汇及句型。教师可为学生设计几种情景，要求学生给出正确恰当的英语。
T：如果你看到别人需要帮助时，说什么？你需要帮助时，如何请求帮助？如何表示谢意等。也可利用一些书包等实物，让同学到前面做类似上一课的小表演。
2．打开书，学生看图。教师介绍本课词汇(利用图片或动作演示)。
3．放课文录音。分段放，学生跟读两至三遍。
4．教师在前面布置几个小场景，分别请学生表演。
场景1) 请一位小个子同学搬动大纸箱，让一个大个子同学从他身边路过，引出以下对话：
S1：This box is too heavy. I cant carry it. could you help me, please?
S2：OK. Let me help you carry it.
S1：Thanks.
S2：Youre welcome.
场景2) 用一个书包，装满了书。让一个小个子同学再拿一本书往里装，引出以下对话：
S1：This bag is too full. I cant put the book into the bag.
S2：OK, put the book over there.
5．指导学生做练习册习题。
6．布置作业
1)抄写生词、练习朗读本课对话；2)完成练习册习题。
四、交际用语
The box is too heavy. 这个箱子太重了。
句中too是副词，表示：太……，通常放在形容词前。例如：
The sweater is too small. 这件毛衣太小了。
需要注意的.是，too还表示也的意思，经常放在句末，应该加以区别。例如：
A：How are you? 你好吗？
B：Fine, thank you. And you? 很好，谢谢。你呢？

二、教学建议
A. Good to know.
1. 热身活动
在阅读活动前，教师先与学生自由谈话，如教师问：Where is China on the world map? What is Chinafamous for? Can you introduce a famous place inChina?学生回答。师生简单谈论后，教师引导学生看A部分的短文配图，预测短文内容。
2. 阅读活动
(1) 阅读前，教师提问学生：Where is China? What is the population of China? What is thecapital of China?学生带着这几个问题快速阅读短文，并从中找到相关信息。之后教师播放录音，学生核对答案。最后教师在语境中教授新词Asia和population。
(2) 教师再提问学生：What is the highest mountain in the world? What are the famousrivers in China? 然后请学生阅读第一段，并找出相应的答案。教师播放相应段落的录音，并适时教授生词：Qomolangma， YangtzeRiver， Yellow River。
(3) 教师提问：How many ethnic groups are in China? 学生自主阅读第二段，并找到答案：Han Chineseand 55 other ethnic groups.教师播放相应段落的录音，适时教授本环节出现的生词。教师和学生沟通，询问学生是什么民族，让学生尝试用Chinese/Meng Chinese ...简单介绍一下自己的民族成分。
(4) 教师提问：Where is Beijing? What is Beijing famous for?学生自主阅读第三段，并找出相应的答案。教师播放相应段落的录音，在讲解过程中处理生词：culture， world-famous， localfood等。此段落难度不大，且较为贴近学生生活实际，教师可把其作为让学生仿写、背诵的段落处理，帮助学生积累语言素材。
Tips：
1. 这篇短文有一定的难度，教师的`提问一定要有梯度，让学生跳一跳就能够得到。教师不要一上来就让学生阅读全文，或不给学生任何提示。
2. 教学此处时，教师仍然不能忽略语音的渗透与模仿，应尽可能多的让学生接触到原声。
3. 教师尽量引导学生通过上下文猜测生词大意，培养学生的阅读策略。
4. 第三段落是贴合学生生活较好的段落，教师可将此段落的练习时间加长。
B. Let‘s make.
此部分可留作课外作业。教师提出要求，请学生使用学过的语言介绍自己的家乡在中国地图上所处的方位，有什么著名景点及特产，以此激发学生对于自己家乡的热爱。对于不知道的信息，教师可以鼓励学生上网查阅相关资料，下次上课时请学生做口头汇报。教师还可以和学生一起把作品做成一期海报，张贴在教室后面的墙壁上进行展出。
C. Let’s sing.
1. 教师播放歌曲。
2. 教师可以为每位学生提供一份缺少部分单词的歌词单，请学生边听歌曲，边填写出所缺的单词。

各位评委上午好!
今天我说课的内容是人教版七年级上unit 3 this is my sister.本单元学习的是与学生生活息息相关的家庭成员。我要谈的是本单元第一课时的教学。下面我将从以下几个方面阐述我的说课内容。
一、对教材的分析和理解
从教材编排上说本单元是就第二单元认知物体之后学习用英语认知人，而与学生最为熟悉的人就是家庭成员。is this your eraser?很自然过度is this your sister?以前学的what’s this?转变who is this?但本单元生词较多。出现在第一课时的就有十五、六个同时还要认识语法现象复数。本课时任务比较艰巨。
二、教学目标
依据初中英语新课标的要求，并根据素质教育中面向全体培养学生素质的要求，我为这一课确立三项目标：即知识目标、能力目标和德育目标。
1、知识目标帮助学生四会掌握以下单词：grandfather,
grandmother, grandparents, father, mother, parents, son, daughter, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, cousin, friend, these, those。并对复数形式有初步了解。
2、能力目标通过本节课学习，学生就家庭成员相互之间应该能用英语介绍、询问、交流。并能用英语在脑子里对个家庭成员的关系进行思考。例如，见到father’s mother,他们能反应出是指
grandmother。同时基本上能辨别什么时候用单数什么时候用复数。
3、情感目标通过对家庭成员的学习，学生对自己的家庭成员会有更清晰的印象，从而激发起他们对家人的热爱。
三、教学重点及难点
本课重点：熟练掌握各家庭成员的名称，会读会说会用这些词汇交流。这个单元最主要的就是学习家庭成员英语的表达，而几乎所有
的单词都集中在第一课时。所以这课时掌握这些单词应该是重中之中。
难点：复数的认识和正确运用。汉语表达中完全没有复数概念，这是一本书，这是三本书;除了多了个数字其他没有任何变化。而英语必须这样说this is a book. these are books.所有的单词都相应的发生了变化。因此中国学生在学习复数的时候特别难。我们的语言没有这个习惯!
突破：通过真实的情景激发起学生的兴趣，兴趣是最好的老师。通过反复操练，加深印象。再循环记忆达到最终目标。
教学手段：多媒体辅助教学，有助于把学生引入到身临其境当中，激发学生兴趣，活跃课堂气氛。同时要求学生提前把自己的家庭照片带来，真实的人物缩小英语与他们生活的距离，从而优化英语教学过程。
学法指导：为学生创设真实的学习情景，让学生以小组形式交流学习，并在课堂上循环训练。
四、教学设计过程
课堂的.整体设计遵循循环记忆反复操练思路，运用情景法和交际法，分五个主要步骤进行，即：导入呈现,巩固操练,拓展，5分钟检测包括小组比赛和布置作业。
第一、引入呈现。(10′)i want to be your friend. do you want to know more about me? do you to know about my family?课件展示
1、家人。认知son, father, mother, parents, wife, husband这几个单词，并马上回顾重新呈现我的家人学生说出他们和我的关系。
2、父母。认知grandfather，grandmother，grandparents，并认识复数。
3、我姐姐及其家人的照片，认知sister，aunt，daughter，cousin。
4、我哥哥的照片，认知brother，uncle，并再次认识复数。
5、回顾我的家人，并帮助学生罗列出family tree。
第二、巩固操练(20′)
1、小组学习，拿出自己的照片相互询问认识别人的家人(8′)老师在这过程中及时帮助学生学会他们不会的单词。
2、读书上的单词，听录音圈出听到的单词。小组学习认识david的家人。(7′)
3、表演对话，在讲台上指着屏幕认识david的家人。(5 ′)
第三、拓展(8′)小组表演。假设你的朋友来到你家，你来为他介绍认识全家，有爷爷奶奶叔叔姑姑父母及兄弟姐妹堂兄妹等。

part one analysis of the teaching material (一) status and function
1.this is an important lesson in book one. from this lesson, it starts asking the ss to grasp contents of each sample. to attain “four skills” request of listening, speaking, reading and writing. to start listing “word bank” and tell the ss to remember the new words. to start asking the ss to write the english sentences well. therefore this lesson is in the important position of the teaching material.
2.this lesson is the first one of unit 2.so if the ss can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the ss learn the rest of this unit. 3.such a topic is related to daily life, so it is helpful to raise learning interests of students and it will be also helpful to improve their spoken english. (二)analysis of the students
the ss has learned english for about one month so far. they can understand some words and some simple sentences. the ss have taken a great interest in english now. (三)teaching aims and demands
the teaching aim\s basis is established according to junior school english syllabus\ provision. 1.knowledge objects
(1) to make the ss know how to use the affirmative sentence “this is. . . .” and the negative sentence “this is not?.”everyday expressions for “apologies”“i\m sorry”“that\s all right”.
