Everyone knows that diligence is the key to success. As a proverb goes: “ Diligence is the mother of success.” Diligence means working hard and persistently.
All famous people of great achievements are examples of diligence. They all owe their success to hard work. Without constant efforts, no one can expect to succeed in doing anything great. Thomas Edison kept on working hard for a long time before he was able to invent he electric light. Madame Curie worked hard in the poor conditions for many years before she finally discovered radium. Some people may attribute success to good luck. But good luck favors those who are well prepared and diligent people who can make use of it. So idleness can only lead to poverty. If you do not devote yourself to your study and work, you can hardly make a living, let alone make some accomplishments.
As high school students, we must be aware that the only way to success is hard work. We must concentrate our attention on our studies, and make full use of our precious time, in order to meet the fierce challenges in the future competitions. It is certain that our future success will only rest on our constant efforts. As a proverb goes: “Only by working hard can we reap a bumper harvest.”

Dream is our map to success, only to pay action, a solid pace, we can let us to reach the other shore of success. Determine our goal, will be for the sake of his hard work. When aim high! We have to make long dont always aspire to.
Life is a pursuit of the ideal, the ideal is the light of life, lost the role of the light, will lose the courage of life. Therefore, only adhere to the lofty ideals in life, not in the ocean of life lost. Hello, everybody! My name is, I come from. Today, I am very glad to stand here and share with you my most sincere speech‘Flying youth, master our future!’
Life is a process of growing up. Saying goodbye to childhood, we step into another important time of life‘the youth’.However, who can really say what the youth is ? A period of time? A belief? An attitude to life? Or anything else? We don’t know.
A famous poet said ‘ youth is a lovely song ,where nothing is impossible youth is a meaningful book, you’ll be never bored of it ;youth is a rapid river ,it keeps on flowing day and night ;youth is a cup of tea ,it shows you different kinds of tastes in your life. ’
As youth is so precious, of course, we must treasure it .Don’t let the limited time pass by, leaving nothing of significance to our future. Actually, youth has a lot to do with our future. It’s necessary for us to prepare ourselves well for the future to come. So, what should we do? Here ,I’ll point out some tips to help equip ourselves
First of all, recognize the direction of your future. In other word, think of what you’d like to be some day. A teacher ? A doctor ? A writer? Don’t afraid of thinking big and great .Since you are young , you can dream of doing anything and becoming anyone in the future .
What’s more , never ignore the power of knowledge. Read more books and travel around. For one thing, it can increase your knowledge, for another, it’ll broaden your horizon.
Last but not the least , stick to your dream. It easier said than done. After all, future is not all roses. So, we should have enough courage and determination to overcome all the difficulties.
I firmly believe one sentence that‘If you think you can, of course you can!’Just believe we can make it! Keep on walking towards our dream. Flying youth ,master our future. From today, from now on ,from XX Middle School ! Ready ? That’s all. Thank you so much for your attention !

Dozens of years ago, as the famous Negro Martin Luther King shouted to the America, “I have a dream, I have a dream”, did he notice that his declaration of freedom would be the light to those who fights for people’s liberty? And, as we can see, his dream made his legend, in other word dream makes people to be great. Right now I just wonder in the future whether I could be somebody like Martin Luther King who fought for people’s freedom or somebody like Bill Gates who donated all his fortune to help poor people or I’ll be like most people to be a nobody who gets a ordinary job and forms a family, living peacefully the rest life. No matter what kind of above, the point is no matter who you are, no matter where you are, please always have a dream. And this dream will make you get power to get progress; this dream will show you the direction like the beacon to the ship on the sea in the night.
From ancient time to the recent years, we see too many famous successful people like Confucius in China and Dr. King, as mentioned above, in the United States. Confucius made great influence to Chinese culture by his Confucianism, and Dr. King push the progress to the liberty of the blacks in the America. They both made great contribution to their country, and how they made this? Part of the reason why, I think, is that they had dreams that care about the people in the world. And more important, in my opinion of view, they throw their entire lives to make their dreams come true. That means they always keep learning, learning from books and learning from living lives. And this is what we need to learn: have a dream in mind and keep pursuing on it.
Through this we see that a dream is something we can make it come true by our hard working, and this is what a dream is different from a reverie. See this means we need to take action, if we really have a good dream. We need study well in the school, we need focus on the direction of our dream, and we need to remind ourselves from time to time: don’t forget our dreams. Maybe when others are playing basketball, but you are at the desk to figure out the difficult math exercises; maybe when others are watching TV series, but you are still on the books which you need in your composition. All these will be worth when you get to the top of your dreaming mountain. As the saying says, “mountain’s high, but man makes the peak”. So finally just let wish good luck to those who always have a dream in mind and keeps steps on it.
