Dear teachers and students,
Hello everyone! It is another year of green grass. In this warm and cold early spring, with hope and joy, we returned to the beautiful XX primary school. In the past year, XX small has made remarkable achievements due to our unremitting efforts. This year, the beautiful XX small will be more brilliant because of our persistent efforts!
In the new school year, on behalf of all teachers, I said: we must live up to the ardent hope of school leaders and the high trust of parents, study hard, forge ahead, practice actively, work hard, and ask for quality from the classroom; Pay attention to every link and every student; Unite, cooperate and work together to show new style with a new attitude and new energy!
The new semester opens new hope, new blank carries new dreams. Here, I give you three poems to encourage you. "If a young man doesn"t work hard, the old man is sad." Dear students, please cherish every sunny morning and let the bright sunrise decorate our wonderful life. "If you want to be poor, you can go to a higher level." I hope the students will be positive in the new semester, show their skills, give full play to their individual strengths and improve their comprehensive quality in an all-round way. "Ask where the canal is clear, so that there is a source of fresh water." A clear pool must be continuously injected with clear springs. Reading is the same. We should persevere and understand every word of every book with our heart. I believe that in the new semester, these three poems will make greater progress with the students!

Today I am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. What is success? It is what everyone is longing for.Sometimes success would be rather simple. Winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now I am standing here giving my speech is somehow also success. However, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes very complicated. Is fortune success? Is fame success? Is high social status success? No, I don’t think so. I believe success is the realization of people’s hopes and ideals.Nowadays, in the modern society there are many people who are regarded as the successful. And the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. So most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. But the problem is wether it is real success. We all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. If we keep chasing them, where is the end? What will satisfy us at last? Therefore, we can see, to get the real Success we must need something inside, which is the realization of people’ hopes and ideals.
Different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. But I am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. These are the best treasures. So now I am very proud that I have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. It is my success, cause I raise up to challenge my hope. What is success? Everyone has his own interpretation as I do. But I am sure every success leads to an ever-brighter future. So ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make a successful life! Wish you all good success!

I"m XXX from class 2, grade 4. Today, the topic of my speech is "new semester, new starting point, new hope."
Through the happy, peaceful and happy winter vacation, following the steps of spring, facing the warm spring breeze, with new mood, new hope and new goals, we have entered a new semester and started another milestone in our career of seeking knowledge. Spring is the season of sowing. Only the seeds of hope sown in spring can bring rich fruits in autumn. After the rest and adjustment of the winter vacation, the students" physical strength has been restored, their vision has been broadened, their knowledge has been supplemented, their energy is more abundant and their fighting spirit is higher.
Although we once had brilliance, it has become a sweet memory beside the pillow; Perhaps, we have suffered setbacks, but it has become a few bitter tears. Forget the past successes and failures, we just need to keep the past experience and lessons in mind, let the past glory inspire us, and let the past failures set off the future success.
Teachers and students: the two sessions of the party will be held soon. With the east wind of the two sessions, all our teachers and students will work together to create new brilliance and make the school more powerful, dynamic and influential!

I am Chinese. I am proud of being a Chinese with five thousand years of civilization behind. Ive learned about the four great inventions made by our forefathers. Ive learned about the Great Wall and the Yangtze River. Ive learned about Zhang Hengand Ive learned about Zheng He.Who says the Yellow River Civilization has vanished?I know that my ancestors have made miracleson this fertile land and were still making miracles. Who can ignore the fact that we have established ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellites into space, and that our GNP ranks No. 7 in the world? We have experienced the plunders by other nations, and we have experienced the war. Yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----China, unyielding and unconquerable!
I once came across an American tourist. She said, “China has a history of five thousand years, but the US only has a history of 200 years. Five thousand years ago, China took the lead in the world, and now it is the US that is leading.”My heart was deeply touched by these words. It is true that were still a developing nation, but it doesnt mean that we can despise ourselves. We have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of. We have reasons to say proudly：we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition is even bigger, our challenges are great, but our will is even greater.
I am Chinese. I have inherited black hair and black eyes. I have inherited the virtues of my ancestors. I have also taken over responsibility. I am sure, that wherever I go, whatever I do, I shall never forget that I am Chinese!
